Compliance Planner (Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid, based at one of our Divisional Offices (Bournemouth or Coventry)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Maternity Cover - up to 12 months

McCarthy Stone is seeking a highly organised and proactive Compliance Planner to join our Property Operations team on a maternity cover contract. This role plays a critical part in ensuring statutory compliance, safety management and the smooth operational running of our developments.
You will support the Compliance Manager in the planning and coordination of statutory compliance activities and planned preventative maintenance (PPM), ensuring we meet our legal obligations and deliver excellent service across our estate.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Managing and scheduling compliance service events and remedial works through Fixflo, ensuring SLA deadlines are met
* Tracking statutory compliance tasks and ensuring accurate record-keeping
* Monitoring contractor performance and working with the Supply Chain and Compliance teams to address risks
* Improving data visibility and system efficiency through effective Fixflo configuration
* Responding to incoming queries and system notifications, coordinating actions with other departments
* Escalating non-compliant issues and supporting timely recovery actions
* Supporting wider compliance reporting, including OPSO submissions
* Managing payment processes including raising purchase orders, chasing invoices and administering contra charges
* Acting as a Fixflo Champion within Property Operations
* Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to resolve obstacles and ensure timely project delivery

About You
Education & Qualifications
* GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
* A commitment to ongoing professional development
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience scheduling work in a customer-focused or service-driven environment
* Experience planning property-related tasks (PPM, compliance, facilities or asset management)
* Strong understanding of property compliance obligations
* Excellent administrative skills and confident use of digital systems and databases
* Experience working within a matrix structure is desirable
Skills & Competencies
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and database administration
* Effective stakeholder management
* Clear and professional written communication
* Commercial awareness is desirable
