Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a solid background in administrative support. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing essential clerical assistance, and maintaining effective communication within the team and with external clients.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily office operations and ensure a welcoming environment
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
* Maintain organised filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
* Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation using Microsoft Office
* Process invoices and manage basic bookkeeping tasks using Sage
* Support team members with various administrative tasks as needed
* Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
* Assist with staff recruitment where necessary
* Orchestrate staff cover for holidays and sickness
* Professional workwear printing
* Managing Social Media including Instagram, Facebook, X and LinkedIn
* Assisting with loading deliveries and completing deliveries if and when needed (a vehicle will be provided for this)
* Covering staff if needed
Requirements
* Previous office experience is essential, with a strong emphasis on administrative roles
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
* Experience with Sage is highly desirable
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
* Demonstrated clerical experience in a professional setting
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, showcasing effective communication skills
