Rubicon Recruitment is hiring a Marketing Assistant to join our in-house team in Poole, supporting a fast-paced recruitment business with a big reputation (and even bigger plans).
Why this Marketing Assistant role exists: We need a Marketing Assistant who’s organised, creative and commercially switched on, someone who enjoys getting stuck in, learning quickly, and seeing their work out in the world.
You’ll be led and supported by a Head of Marketing function, who’ll coach you through campaigns, events, and day-to-day marketing activity so you build confidence, capability, and a breadth of work you’re proud of.

What you’ll be doing as the Marketing Assistant:
10. Supporting both digital and traditional marketing activity
11. Creating and scheduling engaging content across social platforms
12. Creating designs for digital and print using Canvas and Adobe Creative Suite
13. Supporting candidate attraction and lead generation activity
14. Updating our website (Wordpress)
15. Helping organise events and capturing promotional content
What you’ll bring: We’re not looking for “perfect”, we’re looking for potential and the right attitude. This Marketing Assistant role will suit you if you have:
16. A genuine interest in marketing, social media, and how businesses grow
17. Strong written communication and confident verbal communication
18. Basic design and/or video editing skills (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
19. Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and email marketing
20. A proactive mindset and willingness to learn (you’ll get lots of support, you need to bring the energy)
