Assistant Store Manager — £27,250 - £27,456 P/A, depending on experience; Portsmouth; Full time | Permanent | 37.5 hours per week.
Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting an Assistant Store Manager to join the team. The main purpose of this role is to ensure the day-to-day running of the store, supporting the Store Manager with all operational tasks.
This role is full-time and permanent. The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days a week across Monday to Sunday. In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £27,456 P/A, depending on experience, plus 25 days holiday, staff discounts, company pension, store events and more!
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Store Manager, responsibilities will include: supporting the daily people management of the store's team
* Serving customers, processing transactions and handling product returns
* Assisting with the store stock take
* Handling shop merchandising tasks and store layout changes
* Receiving stock deliveries
* Being a responsible key holder for the store
Requirements / Ideal Candidate
* Must have previous retail Supervisor/Assistant Manager/Manager experience
* Will need to be confident in managing a team and supporting with recruitment, staff training and development
* Must have excellent customer service skills and a keen eye for detail
* Will be a team player and prepared to lead by example
