Teacher of Design & Technology - Canterbury (Secondary)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and creative Teacher of Design & Technology to join a welcoming secondary school in Canterbury from April 2026. The school is seeking a talented educator who can inspire students through practical learning and innovative design, while contributing to a supportive and collaborative department.
You will be teaching a range of Design & Technology subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach KS5 for the right candidate. This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys bringing creativity into the classroom and helping students develop practical skills, critical thinking, and confidence in design.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that support students of all abilities. As part of the role, you will also support KS4 students as they prepare for their GCSE examinations, including planning, assessment, and marking.
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience teaching Design & Technology at KS3 and KS4
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Is passionate about teaching and committed to inspiring young people
* Can plan and deliver creative, engaging, and well-structured lessons
* Enjoys working as part of a supportive and dedicated teaching team
