Job Title: Computer Science Teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Computer Science Teacher to work across schools in Rochdale, starting in September 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise in technology and digital literacy to students in various secondary schools within the Rochdale area.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons in Computer Science for Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Foster a love for coding, problem-solving, and computational thinking.
3. Help students develop skills in programming, web development, and data management.
4. Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their growth.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop best practices.
6. Contribute to extracurricular activities like coding clubs or tech competitions.
7. Stay updated with technological and educational developments.
Requirements:
* Passion for Computer Science and teaching future tech innovators.
* Degree in Computer Science, ICT, or related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students in tech topics.
