The role – what you will do
We are seeking a chartered building surveyor / senior building surveyor for our Manchester office. You will be part of a team handling all aspects of professional and project-related building surveying for private and public sector clients.
You will support project leaders to deliver high-quality services, ensure successful client outcomes, share knowledge, foster innovation, and uphold our reputation. Your duties will include managing client and project teams, delivering services profitably and on time, and covering services like design, specification, clerk of works, contract administration, building surveys, and dilapidations.

Your core duties will involve:
* Managing projects from start to finish
* Communicating effectively and liaising with managers for financial control
* Assisting in managing client/project teams
* Conducting site surveys and meetings with stakeholders
* Ensuring work is accurate and timely
* Representing the company professionally and building strong client relationships
Skills and attributes we seek
* BSc in building surveying or equivalent
* MRICS membership is beneficial
* Strong technical writing and communication skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and NBS is beneficial
* Experience in education, local government, healthcare sectors is advantageous
* Good relations with private and public clients
* Skills in surveys, project management, repairs, and maintenance
* Organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, and commercially aware
* Team player with a positive attitude
* Polite, patient, diplomatic, personable, respectful, and flexible
* Good IT skills (AutoCAD, NBS, MS Project, Outlook, Word, Excel)
