We are seeking a Stores Controller to join a growing business in Derby. You will manage the engineering stores, ensuring efficient stock management to support various teams. This role demands excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle fast-moving parts in a dynamic environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Stock Management: Maintain accurate levels, oversee ordering, and manage stock issuance.
Operational Efficiency: Keep the store environment safe and organized, implement effective storage systems, and support software management.
Team Collaboration: Ensure engineers have necessary parts and assist with financial operations related to stock.Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience in stock control, preferably in engineering or manufacturing.
Strong IT and system management skills; Simpro/Xero experience beneficial.
Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
