Overview
Join to apply for the Small Animal Vet role at CVS Group UK.
We are looking for two new Small Animal vets to join the team. One position would suit a candidate with the experience to undertake more advanced surgical/diagnostic procedures and a drive for developing their career. If you prefer to be part of a skilled and experienced team in a strong, dynamic practice that provides plenty of support, that is also welcome.
The SA team is 19 vets, 21 RVNs, and 3 SVNs, with several certificate and diploma holders throughout the team, as well as those studying for certificates. The Hospital is well equipped with ultrasound, radiography, dentistry, endoscopy, surgical (including laparoscopic), and ICU equipment as you would expect in a top-tier first-opinion hospital; including an internal laboratory with dedicated technicians. We also provide an ophthalmology referral service and have a weekly visiting Cert AVP (GSAS) for advanced orthopaedics.
What do we want from you? The ideal candidates will bring new ideas and experiences, contribute to case discussions and clinical meetings, and help provide a progressive veterinary service to our clients. We do provide our own OOHs service, with a hybrid OOHs vet team covering most of the OOHs night work. Contributions are not expected to be overburdening and are negotiable.
What can we offer you? The very best support, clinical freedom, and equipment to help you succeed in your career, while living in an area of outstanding beauty with excellent recreational opportunities, including equestrian activities, cycling, sailing, walking, beaches, and wildlife.
