Start Date: 2nd February 2026
Salary: £19,414 to £20,682 (pro rata). (subject to term time adjustment). The salary stated will be subject to a term time only adjustment for the commencement of employment outside of the start date of 1st September.
Part Time: 39 weeks. Hours: 32.50 (part time). Salary: Grade 4 SCP 5 - 9.
Mon - Fri 8.00 am to 3.00 pm (includes a 30 minute unpaid lunch)
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Receptionist & Administrative Assistant to join our busy administration team. This is a key role as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and pupils, providing a professional, efficient, and welcoming service at the school's front desk.
This position is split across two areas of responsibility:
1. Reception: Acting as the school's 'front of house' greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and supporting staff and pupils with enquiries.
2. General Administration: Supporting the wider administration team with tasks such as:
3. HR Personnel Administration
4. Organisation of advertisements/refreshments
5. Headteachers PA
6. School Planning Coordination (alongside SLT)
7. Clerking of Pupil Disciplinary Committee meetings
8. General administrative duties
We are looking for someone who is:
9. Enthusiastic about working within a school environment

11. Able to work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
12. Capable of working under pressure, prioritising tasks, and maintaining confidentiality
13. Experienced in using information management systems, with strong IT skills including MS Office 365
14. Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently using initiative
15. Possessing a good sense of humour and a positive attitude
