A well-established nursery in Reading with a strong Ofsted rating is looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager to support day-to-day leadership and maintain high standards of care and education. What You’ll Need
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above)
* Previous experience in a senior practitioner, room leader, or deputy role
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures
* Ability to lead staff and maintain consistent standards across rooms
What You’ll Do
* Support the Nursery Manager in the daily running of the setting
* Lead staff practice in line with EYFS and safeguarding requirements
* Monitor room standards, planning, and child development outcomes
* Provide guidance and supervision to practitioners and senior staff
* Ensure compliance with Ofsted, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures
* Step into management responsibility in the manager’s absence
