We are seeking a reliable and proactive On-Call Operator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring continuity of care outside of standard office hours. You will be the first point of contact for care staff, service users and care teams including social work team out of hours and GP out of hours during evenings, weekends and bank holidays handling urgent queries, coordinating cover for shifts, and escalating issues as needed. Key Responsibilities ? Act as the first point of contact for staff, care services and service users during on-call hours. ? Complete call monitoring for each shift AM, Lunch, Tea and Bed or applicable shifts during your on call period. ? Respond promptly and professionally to calls, messages, and emergencies. ? Coordinate shift cover in the event of staff absence or emergencies. ? Maintain accurate records of all calls and actions taken during the on-call period. ? Liaise with the office team to ensure smooth handover and continuity of service. ? Liase with deputies and seniors to address issues which require out of hours social work or GP to inform and report following the guidance provided. ?
