Join the Candle Makery Team – Temporary Creative Gift-Making Assistant

At Candle Makery, home to our Kindred Fires & Mischief Candles brands, we believe every candle tells a story. Each one is hand-poured with natural soy wax, beautifully personalised, and sent out to customers around the world to celebrate life's most magical moments.
We're a small, passionate team that loves what we do — blending craftsmanship, creativity, and a little bit of mischief to create gifts that truly wow.
Now we're looking for creative hands and imaginative minds to join us as Temporary Gift-Making Assistants. You'll rotate across our fulfilment team and customer experience teams getting involved in everything from artworking and laser engraving designs to pouring candles, packing gifts and offering excellent customer service that make people smile.
What you'll be doing:
* Artworking personalised designs and running our laser engravers to add those unique finishing touches
* Hand-pouring and finishing candles with care (and a bit of magic )
* Applying personalised stickers and labels with precision
* Packing gifts beautifully to create the ultimate "wow" unboxing moment
* Helping out with customer service enquiries and ensuring every order feels extra special
* Keeping our creative workspace running smoothly — replenishing stock, tidying, and collaborating with the team
What we're looking for:
* A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail
* Someone with energy, enthusiasm, and a love for making
* A team player who thrives in a fun, fast-paced, and creative environment
* Bonus points if you've studied art, design, or a creative subject — but mostly we want someone who is keen to work hard
* Somebody who has experience using Illustrator

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 14 – 35 per week
