Senior IT Business Analyst
The Opportunity
QBE Europe is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to join a well-established Transformation and Technology company. This role offers a significant impact opportunity within a leading insurance firm, working with a talented, collaborative team to influence modernization initiatives. Understanding business needs and desired outcomes is crucial for growth.
The Business Analyst ensures high-value delivery efficiently to customers. The role involves problem-solving, innovation, and inspiring team creativity. You may specialize in process, data, business, or systems analysis to identify gaps, gather requirements, and redesign processes or tools as necessary.
Your New Role
Customer Centricity
* Prioritize customer needs and anticipate future challenges to deliver long-term value.
* Analyze and challenge business problems to determine true requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Align with business and technology strategies to prioritize outcomes.
* Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, developers, testers, Scrum Masters, architects, and project managers.
Business & Systems Analysis
* Plan and execute analysis activities with clear objectives.
* Break down complex problems into manageable components.
* Define and document requirements, develop process maps, and analyze data.
* Support solution validation and partner with technical teams on design specifications.
* Review solutions to ensure they meet business needs.
Continuous Improvement & Agile Practices
* Challenge and evolve working standards.
* Drive continuous improvement via active participation in agile ceremonies.
* Manage workload priorities and contribute to risk management.
About You
* Proven experience as a senior business analyst or similar strategic role.
* Support stakeholders through change initiatives, with insurance industry experience preferred.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
* Empathy, adaptability, and knowledge of heterogeneous IT architectures.
* Experience in complex projects, mentoring, and Agile/DevOps environments.
* Relevant professional qualification is highly desirable.
