Job description Additional Information Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (Monday – Sunday) Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Agency / Temporaryq Competitive rates, aligned to experience and engagement model Job responsibilities As a Band 6 Lung Screening Nurse, you will: Deliver lung screening and health check services in line with programme requirements Undertake patient assessments, including history taking and clinical observations Support individuals through the screening pathway, ensuring understanding and engagement Provide health promotion and smoking cessation advice where appropriate Identify and escalate abnormal findings in line with clinical guidance Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with standards Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including respiratory and radiology Ensure adherence to clinical governance, safety and infection control protocols Support efficient clinic delivery and patient flow Work across multiple sites (Leicester, Derby, Northampton) as required Person Specification Experience Essential: Experience working at Band 6 level (or equivalent) Experience in respiratory, screening or general nursing Strong clinical and communication skills Desirable: Previous experience in lung screening or health check programmes Flexibility to work across multiple locations Requirements (Agency Compliance) Valid NMC Registration (Adult Nurse) Right to Work in the UK Enhanced DBS Up-to-date Mandatory Training (BLS, Safeguarding, etc.) Occupational Health Clearance Minimum 6 months recent UK experience Apply now Send CV to: neha.philip@pertempsmedical.co.uk akash.raval@pertempsmedical.co.uk sam.mehta@pertempsmedical.co.uk Please include your availability and pay expectations when applying
