Job Description
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
Protection of Property and Premises
* Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
* Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV systems as required.
* Conduct internal and external security patrols in line with Assignment Instructions.
* Manage traffic flow and enforce parking restrictions where appropriate.
* Carry out routine tests of security equipment.
* Perform key management duties, including locking and unlocking responsibilities.
* Ensure all customer‑provided and company‑provided equipment is handled and maintained in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
* Maintain accurate logbooks, records, and reports as specified.
* Issue visitor and contractor passes following site procedures.
* Handle lost property in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
Health and Safety
* Provide support, guidance, and information to staff, visitors, and contractors to ensure the safe operation of the premises.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
* Report and record faults, hazards, unsafe practices, and accidents in line with Assignment Instructions.
* Ensure all walkways and emergency escape routes are kept clear.
* Report any use or shortages of First Aid equipment.
* Notify the Securitas Operations Centre (SOC) in the event of emergencies and follow the instructions provided.
* Assist in investigating the cause of all fire alarm activations.

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:
* A valid SIA licence.
* Strong written, verbal, and radio communication skills in English.
* Good physical fitness for regular patrols.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word (desirable).
* Customer‑focused attitude with a commitment to adding value.
* Ability to commute reliably to site.
* Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
* The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
* Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
