Sales Office Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £50,000
Working Hours: Mon–Fri 8:30–17:30 (Flexibility)
Holiday: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Sales Office Manager to join a thriving business within the insulation and dry lining sector. Based in Bristol, you'll lead and inspire a busy internal sales team, ensuring exceptional customer service, accurate order processing, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
Reporting directly to the Branch Director, this role requires someone with strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and the drive to deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and motivate the internal sales team on a daily basis
* Drive sales performance and implement initiatives to achieve targets
* Monitor and report on sales figures, margins, and budgets
* Ensure all quotations and orders are processed within 24 hours
* Complete month-end reporting and administrative tasks to deadlines
* Support external sales through customer visits when required
* Maintain staff records including holidays, training, and performance reviews
* Oversee initial disciplinary procedures when necessary, working with senior management
* Monitor competitor activity and maintain accurate market intelligence
* Ensure adherence to company processes and best practice workflows
* Foster effective communication with other departments to deliver an outstanding customer experience
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing a sales office or internal sales team
* Strong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to inspire others
* Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities, especially under pressure
* Attention to detail with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service
* Commercial awareness and the ability to monitor margins and pricing
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar systems is an advantage
* Knowledge of the construction, insulation, dry lining, or cladding sectors desirable
