Business Manager (Customer Engagement)

What you'll be doing:
The main purpose of this role is to provide an effective and efficient executive support to the Customer Service Directors and to deliver the Customer Engagement agenda. The business manager will become deputy of the Director in many internal meetings, support preparation of internal strategic presentations. The role will be crucial in reviewing and updating our strategy on an annual basis and conducting a target operating model review to ensure alignment with business wide initiatives.

●Programme & Change Delivery: Lead cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives (e.g., service improvements, restructures, recruitment strategy), ensuring structured delivery, stakeholder alignment, and successful change adoption.
●Strategic Planning & Insight: Develop strategic plans, roadmaps, and operational documents. Conduct business analysis to support restructures and continuous improvement.
●MI, Forecasting & Audit Oversight: Represent the business in MI and forecasting setup. Produce and analyse management information, track audit actions, and ensure accountability across processes.
●Leadership & COO Support: Coordinate leadership team activity, maintain key actions and priorities, provide interim leadership cover, and manage reports, presentations, and confidential matters on behalf of the Director.
●Stakeholder & Budget Management: Liaise with internal teams to ensure alignment across initiatives and support budget planning and tracking.

What we’re looking for:

●Proven experience in business operations or commercial management roles.
●Demonstrated success supporting senior leadership, including facilitating strategy sessions, managing governance cycles, and overseeing confidential workstreams.
●Strong project management capability, with end-to-end delivery experience.
●Experience in risk governance, performance reporting, and stakeholder engagement at all levels.
