At Crumbs & Doilies we make cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies using the finest ingredients by the best people. We have a two-floor bakery and store in Soho and our main production kitchen in Wandsworth (HQ), where we create and fulfil orders for customers across the UK.

As Bakery Manager, youll oversee the smooth running of our Wandsworth production bakery and support our Soho team. Youll oversee multiple departments; from cakes and cupcakes to cookies and brownies. Ensuring each and every product is made to the highest standard and every team member feels supported, motivated and valued. Youll be responsible for planning, people management, production efficiency and quality control, while maintaining a positive, energetic workplace. Youll play a key role in driving innovation, launching new products, and helping us continue to delight our customers every day. You will keep the bakery running smoothly and beautifully, even on the busiest of days.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management
Lead, inspire and motivate the bakery team across all departments (cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies and traybakes).
Oversee and support the Cookie Team Manager and provide guidance when needed.
Deliver effective hands-on team training to ensure that all staff members are working to the highest standards of quality, consistency and efficiency
Foster a positive, collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Manage staffing levels, rotas, holidays and performance reviews.
Lead by example with excellent communication, organisation and passion.
Production & Planning
Oversee production schedules to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow in timely order.
Maintain exceptional product standards, presentation and consistency.
Plan and coordinate with the Soho store to manage stock levels and batch transfers.
Work closely with the leadership team to plan and execute new product launches, seasonal collections and limited edition items.
Operational Excellence
Ensure all health, safety and food hygiene regulations are followed and documented to the highest standard.
Monitor kitchen productivity, spot where efficiency can be improved and be confident to implement improvement.
Oversee ingredient ordering, stock management and waste reduction.
Monitor and maintain equipment, booking repairs or maintenance when necessary.
Ensure cleanliness, organisation and structure throughout the bakery.
About You
Strong organisational, leadership and team leading skills.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar bakery or production management role.
Familiar with Crumbs & Doilies and excited by what we do.
Calm, approachable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Passionate about quality, creativity and inspiring others.
Positive, proactive and motivated by innovation and teamwork.
