Visit www.murphygroup.com or follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X: MoretoMurphy What your day will look like: - Manage on-site resources including plant, machinery, and materials, to optimise productivity and project efficiency. - Oversee excavation, filling, and compaction operations, applying best practices and maintaining compliance with environmental and safety standards. - Supervise a team of groundworkers and machine operatives, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of earthworks activities. - Coordinate effectively with subcontractors and internal teams to maintain workflow and meet project timelines. - Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety Requirements. - Site briefings, risk assessments. - Collaborate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders. - Maintain Murphy project quality controls to help us always deliver. - Maintain rigorous quality control and deliver work to the highest specification, ensuring project success from start to finish.What we need from you: - Experience on large infrastructure projects – Substation / Power / Civil / Utilities. - CSCS - SSSTS / SMSTS Card holder - Strong communicator - Strong collaborator with the ability to build solid working relationships across the team. - Flexibility to travel and stay away from home. - Proficiency in relevant engineering software and Microsoft suites, in particular Microsoft Excel - Full UK driving licence.
