<div><h3>Deputy SENCO</h3><p>A unique opportunity has arisen to join a passionate team of staff at New Road Academy.</p><p>We are seeking a dedicated Deputy SENDCo to support the leadership and development of high‑quality SEND provision across our academy. Working closely with the SENDCo team, you will take responsibility for the day‑to‑day management of SEND systems, including EHCP processes, ensuring effective and compliant provision for all learners.</p><p>New Road Academy is a forward‑thinking organisation with high expectations of both staff and students.</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Support the leadership and development of high‑quality SEND provision across the academy.</li><li>Take responsibility for day‑to‑day management of SEND systems, including EHCP processes.</li><li>Ensure effective and compliant provision for all learners.</li><li>Advocate for the needs of students with SEND and support colleagues in delivering inclusive education.</li></ul><p>The successful candidate will be a committed, organised and proactive professional with a strong understanding of SEND practice and legislation. They will demonstrate excellent communication skills, the ability to build positive relationships, and a passion for inclusive education. They will be confident in supporting colleagues, managing systems effectively, and advocating for the needs of students with SEND.</p><p>Closing date for applications is 3rd July 2026.
