Key Duties:
* Applicant needs to be Leicester based
* Drafting simple letters and emails.
* Opening and closing and archiving client files.
* Ensuring documents and e-filing are stored correctly.
* Handling enquiries
* Monitoring and managing email traffic.
* Drafting and taking instructions on a variety of Wills and associated estate planning documents
* Draft correspondence and documents ensuing they are accurate and meet our customer's requirements
* To prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch and to be responsible for ensuring that all outgoing post is correctly addressed and delivered to reception in time for dispatch.
* Answer incoming calls / Good telephone manner
* Receiving incoming calls and email enquiries
Roles & Responsibilities
* Drafting and taking instructions on a variety of Wills and associated estate planning documents
* managing incoming cases
* Communicate with clients over the phone, progressing each case through to completion, ensuring all documentation is legally accurate and professionally written
* Accurately maintain client records and correspondence, ensuring all compliance & regulatory standards are met.
The Candidate:
· This lovely well-established Wills company is looking to expand its highly reputable Wills/Administration department. The role can be working from home but will require attending the Leicester once or twice a month. The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience drafting numerous types of Wills and powers of attorney documents. If you have experience dealing with probate matters, that will also be considered but isn't essential.
* Previous experience of working within a legal environment, however if you have good experience of working within a busy PA/secretarial role and have a genuine interest in working within the legal sector, we would very much like to hear from you.
* Ability to prioritise your own workload, work closely to deadlines, exceptionally organised and pro-active and flexible 'can-do' attitude.
* Proficient with Microsoft packages, including Excel and PowerPoint and be comfortable with learning new databases and other software packages.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
