You’ll oversee payroll operations for 8,000 employees across multiple sites, lead a team of three, and play a key role in driving process improvement and compliance within a supportive, collaborative culture.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
✅ Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll for a large, multi-site workforce
✅ Lead and develop a team of 3 payroll professionals
✅ Oversee payroll compliance, reporting, and audit processes
✅ Partner with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and statutory compliance
✅ Support continuous improvement and system enhancement projects
🙌 Ideal Candidate Profile
🌟 Proven experience managing payroll in a large, multi-site UK organisation
🌟 Strong leadership and communication skills – personable and proactive
🌟 Excellent Excel skills and payroll system experience
🌟 CIPP qualified or equivalent experience
🌟 Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
