Alecto Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a forward-thinking Renewables Specialist in Somerset, currently seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to cover a 12-month maternity leave. If you're organised, detail-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity to make your mark.
We are particularly keen to hear from those with experience of Management Accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee day-to-day financial records and maintain accuracy
Lead the month-end process and produce management accounts
Prepare VAT & CIS returns using Xero
Generate and process sales invoices and manage credit control
Support the Finance Director in preparing financial reports and budgets
Handle various ad hoc finance and admin tasks
What You'll Need:
AAT qualified or equivalent through experience
Proficient in Xero and confident with Excel
Strong knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles
Previous experience in the utilities or renewables sector (a plus!)
Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
