The Role
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be a developing leader passionate about creating a positive environment for guests and team members alike. You will be an expert in food quality and standards, using your knowledge to lead, engage, and inspire your team.
Responsibilities
* Support and motivate your team to uphold high standards and deliver excellent service
* Manage the kitchen line, plan shifts, and ensure proper staffing
* Maintain food safety, health, and safety standards; understand financial aspects such as gross profit, stock control, and labor costs
* Celebrate team successes and recognize individual contributions
Qualifications
* Passionate about supporting your team and maintaining high standards
* Experienced in managing kitchen operations and team coaching
* Knowledgeable about food safety, health regulations, and financial management in a kitchen setting
* Enthusiastic about team development and recognition
