Overview
Job Title: Talent Acquisition Advisor (FTC)
Reports To: Talent Manager
This is an entry level role on a fixed term basis (12 months) based from the Livingston office on a hybrid basis (minimum two days per week).
Responsibilities
* Recruitment Administration
o Candidate Management - Monitor, maintain and update our internal recruitment system (Dayforce)
o Issuing contracts to new starts across all business functions
o Update third party partnership sites accordingly, including LinkedIn & Indeed
o Partner with both the People Team and Learning & Development Team
* Recruitment Support
o Provide essential recruitment support across the business, whilst working closely with the Talent Manager & Partner to continuously strive to improve our candidates experience
o Managing retail management recruitment. Ensuring applications are managed in a timely manner, scheduling and conducting interviews and providing feedback to candidates and business stakeholders
o Provide essential recruitment support across the business, communicating effectively and offering advice to key stakeholders and hiring managers across the business
o Manage and track any internal movements and liaise with the People Team accordingly
o Conducting initial first stage interviews/ screening calls with external applicants and making applicable recommendations to hiring managers
o Supporting entry level head office recruitment when required
o Liaising with the L&D Team to ensure any new starts or existing employees are provided with the up to date materials required for their inductions and/or continued learning
o Supporting our Talent Manager with any ad hoc tasks and providing cover during annual leave if required
* Person
o Highly efficient, reliable and trustworthy individual with a genuine passion to recruit top talent in to the business.
o Ability to be self-motivated and manage your time effectively
o Communication is key, so you will need to be confident, proactive and prioritise your work accordingly
o A genuine interest in system development, always striving to understand how we can continue to evolve and innovate
o Understanding of a retail business and an awareness of the retail landscape
