 
        
        The Opportunity:
We are excited to present a new opportunity for a Postdoctoral Fellow to join a shared programme between the laboratories of Liz Patton (MRC Human Genetics Unit, IGC) and Maanasa Polubothu (UCL) to develop and characterise an animal model of Butterfly Arteriovenous Malformations. This model will be used in an FDA drug screen to find new therapies. This post is ideal for a highly motivated, team orientated Postdoctoral Fellow, who can lead their own programme of work and deliver high quality science.
This post is fixed-term until 31st December 2027 and full-time (35 hours per week) and is experimental laboratory based.
The salary for this post is at Grade UE07: £41,064 to £48,822 per annum.
Your skills and attributes for success: 
 1. Motivation to deliver high quality science.
 2. Ability to take a leading role in the programme of work. 
 3. Ability to work with a team, and to collaborate with local and international colleagues.
 4. Experimental molecular biology and cell biology laboratory skills.
 5. Experience with models (e.g. zebrafish), and/or microinjection and genomics are desirable.
