Residential and Commercial Property Legal Secretary
The Role
As a Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative and secretarial support to our lawyers and wider team. You will play a key role in ensuring cases are managed efficiently, documents are prepared accurately, and client service is delivered to the highest standard.
* Opening and maintaining client files in accordance with firm procedures.
* Drafting and preparing correspondence, statements, and legal documents.
* Assisting with client care administration, including preparing client care letters and invoices.
* Conducting searches and liaising with relevant authorities and third parties.
* Preparing, filing, and organising legal bundles and case documents.
* Supporting post-completion or case-closure formalities as required.
* Audio and copy typing of legal documents, forms, and correspondence.
* Liaising with clients by telephone, email, and in person, ensuring a professional and supportive approach.
* General administrative tasks including scanning, filing, diary management, and scheduling meetings.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Legal Secretary (minimum 6 months).
* Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy and fast-paced environment.
* Professional written and verbal communication skills.
* A proactive team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
