Technical Lecturer
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Technical Lecturer to join the Yunex TrafficTraining Services department. Working closely with business stakeholders, your primaryresponsibility will be to deliver a range of technical and skills-based courses in current Yunex traffic systems and future products.
Most training is face to face, however, there will be some delivery on-line. Although this role is based in the Yunex Depot in Enfield, North London - where most of the training will be conducted - training is delivered from multiple venues across the whole of the UK and some customer training may require international travel.
Training Services focuses primarily on developing the competence of Yunex Traffic field engineers, as well as key customers, by delivering first-classunderpinning training. You will need to apply your existing experience and passion for developing anddelivering training courses to ensure that these key business deliverables are achieved.
Although the primary role is teaching, you will also be responsible for all aspects of training provision, including requirements capture,course development, preparation, implementation and the on-going maintenance to comply with industry standards and traffic industry best practice. You will need to take ownership of yourassigned training area and support the wider team with knowledge sharing.
As a member of the training team your experience and knowledge will be utilized to help develop the ongoing strategy of the training department to support the needs of the business in the future, using the latest technology and modern training techniques.

What Are Your Responsibilities
To develop and deliver technical and skills training solutions to both internal and external delegates in support of our current and emerging businessrequirements.
* Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with company safety and quality procedures and meet all applicable legislation, safety and customer standards, and project requirements.This will include both face to face and remote deliverysolutions.
* Be responsible for the creation of new course material and the updating of existing material in line with developing requirements.
* The delivery of skills-based training relating to Health & Safety, working with LV electrical equipment on the highway and other technical courses as part of the HighwayElectrical Registration Scheme (HERS) competency framework.
* Actively participate in business improvement initiatives and help driveimplementation of improvements from the team.
* Continuously improve/develop cross functional and departmental processes.
* Support Training Services with external bidding and internal projectrequirements by producing training information and written proposals as required. Attend relevant project and engineering meetings to advise and consult on relevant trainingconsiderations.
* To carry out safety-critical, technical and operational assessments as defined by therelevant Competency Management System and company policy.
* Deliver specific technical training project plans to support Yunex traffic programmes.
* Collaboration with internal and external customers to identify and deliver the training requirements for their area of responsibility.
* Develop a relationship with the customer that provides a stable foundation for future business opportunities. Collate and respond to customer feedback to ensure Yunex Traffic builds trust and confidence in the market.
* Support the development of annual training budgets and produce and deliver training to budgetary requirements.
* Demonstrate role-model behaviours and values consistent with Business Conduct Guidelines.

* A training qualification or equivalent teaching experience
