One of the leading global pioneer in the aerospace industry is actively looking for a 'Java Full Stack Software Developer' in Portsmouth. They are operating in the commercial aircraft, helicopters, defence, and space sectors.
You'll play a key role in a cutting-edge satellite mission, developing scalable, distributed systems in a secure, microservice-based architecture. UML/SysML modelling, agile workflows, and CI/CD delivery are central to the programme's success.
Requirement
* Java Core (8+), Spring Boot, Hibernate
* RESTful Web Services, Microservices
* UML/SysML (ideally Enterprise Architect)
* Agile/Scrum methodology, CI/CD practices
* GIT, Jira, and distributed systems experience
* Aerospace, defence, or high-assurance systems background (highly preferred)
Responsibilities
* Develop high-quality, secure code in Java (8+) using Spring Boot and REST APIs
* Participate in UML-based design and architecture
* Implement microservices for satellite management systems
* Contribute to automated testing, sprint planning, and continuous delivery
