Faculty/Directorate
Research & Innovation Services drives impactful research and supports projects tackling global challenges in health, sustainability, and digital futures.
What you will be doing:
Provide high-quality administrative support to Research Institute Directors.
1. Manage diaries, meetings, and events, including travel arrangements.
2. Service committees and working groups (agenda preparation, minute-taking, follow-up actions).
3. Support research funding applications and maintain research activity data.
4. Coordinate onboarding for new research projects and assist with collaborative networks.
5. Handle sensitive correspondence with discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications/ experience:
6. 5 GCSEs at A*–C including English and Maths (or equivalent experience).
7. Strong experience using Windows-based software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
8. Experience servicing committee meetings and managing complex administrative tasks.
9. Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
