Projects Director
Salary: Circa £80,000
About the Role
As a Projects Director, you will oversee all aspects of project delivery from concept to completion, ensuring every installation meets our client's standards for quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
You will manage a team of Project Managers and Engineers while also helping shape the strategic direction and commercial growth of the business. With a strong mechanical engineering background, you'll bring proven experience delivering steam, ventilation, heating, and cooling systems for industrial and manufacturing clients.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers delivering complex mechanical and climate system projects across industrial and manufacturing sectors.
* Oversee end-to-end project delivery from design through to installation, commissioning, and handover, ensuring quality, safety, and profitability targets are achieved.
* Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to develop tailored solutions that meet technical, environmental, and operational requirements.
* Identify opportunities for business growth and build long-term client relationships.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource planning for the project delivery function.
About You
We would like to hear from you if you have:
* Extensive experience delivering and leading projects within HVAC, steam, heating, and cooling systems, from concept through to commissioning.
* A deep understanding of industrial manufacturing environments, with a proven ability to meet the technical and operational demands of complex client sites.
* A proven track record managing multiple large-scale, multidisciplinary projects concurrently to time, budget, and quality targets.
* Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills, with the ability to inspire and guide high-performing project managers.
