About the Role: As a Senior Support Worker, youll play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in our care. Youll lead shifts, mentor staff, and ensure the home runs smoothly while creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage shifts, ensuring children are safe, supported, and engaged. Support the continual assessment and development planning for each child. Mentor and supervise new staff, promoting teamwork and retention. Liaise with internal and external professionals to meet care needs. Chair meetings, reviews, and discussions as required. Ensure compliance with financial, administrative, and medication procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment. Promote positive relationships between staff, children, and families. What Were Looking For: Diploma/NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Residential Child Care (or equivalent) Experience working in a childrens residential setting Strong communication skills both written and verbal Solid understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures Commitment, flexibility, honesty, and integrity Working knowledge of Care Standards 2000 & Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 Why Join Us?
