Join to apply for the Support Worker role at Acuity Care Group.
Location: London. This role sits within our Team Brain Injury family and supports a young man living in his family home with brain injury, autism, epilepsy and challenging behaviour. You will work on a 1:1 basis to provide high-quality care and engaging activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, 1:1 care tailored to the individual’s needs
* Engage in meaningful activities and take the client out into the community to promote social interaction and well-being
* Support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment
* Communicate clearly and confidently in the client’s preferred manner to build a trusting relationship
* Assist with activities related to music, dancing, and other interests as appropriate to the client
* Support daytime driving responsibilities if you choose a day-time role
Qualifications & Requirements
* Experience or knowledge of brain injury, autism, epilepsy
* Experience with behaviours that can be perceived as challenging
* Empathetic, person-centered approach
Shift Details & Compensation
* Pay rate: £14.50 per hour (Monthly Pay)
* Shift Pattern: Days, Monday to Sunday, 12:00–17:00
