Job Description
Our client specializes in bespoke automation and materials handling solutions in the UK. They are seeking a Contracts Manager to join their project team due to ongoing expansion.
The role involves maintaining communication with site managers, staff, and clients to ensure smooth operations and service delivery, managing quality assurance, and overseeing project activities within budget and time constraints. The Contracts Manager will also identify new business opportunities and expand the client portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing budgetary cost documents for potential projects, ensuring compliance with legislation.
* Managing projects from a Principal Contractor perspective, including budget management and client updates.
* Coordinating site health & safety, maintaining project oversight.
* Developing legal CDM documentation with support from the Site Manager.
* Ensuring delivery aligns with agreements, managing scope and financials.
* Managing suppliers and labor contracts throughout projects.
* Gathering and distributing H&S documentation and manuals at project completion.
The candidate should be NEBOSH Level 3 qualified, SMSTS trained, and a member of APS, with at least 3 years' experience in construction, strong commercial skills, and proficiency in project management.
