Responsibilities

* Carry out maintenance and repairs to equipment within the Workshop in East Kilbride and maintain documentation of all works in line with Health and Safety and Quality procedures.
* Prepare FLT’s to the standard required for STR rental and USED sales and order the necessary spare parts efficiently.
* Adhere to all company H&S, Environmental and site policies, procedures and practices to ensure an environmentally safe workplace.
* Complete K1SS and all paperwork/IT systems accurately, within stipulated time period and with relevant order numbers.
* Liaise with first line management for authorisation of parts and process order numbers accordingly.
* Work under own initiative without constant supervision.
* Ensure all allocated work is adhered to and notify Manager if in arrears.
* Follow all specified Engineering Standards, Safe Working Practices and Company Policies and Procedures at all times.
* Maintain accurate stock levels and movement records.
* Keep all company issued equipment in satisfactory condition and report any failures.
* Take on any reasonable additional duties as required by the Manager to ensure smooth running of the Workshop.
* Perform any other duties which arise as a result of duties above.

Tasks and Qualifications

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent associated occupation Electrical hydraulic and/or mechanical competencies.
* Good communication skills to liaise with customers and internal colleagues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Complete tasks to a high standard.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Positive and can-do attitude.
* Deliver first class customer service at all times.
* Flexible to adapt to the changing needs of the role.
* A desire to be a Linde/STILL brand ambassador.
