Job description:
The role will enable the delivery of D&T objectives with stakeholders across the geography. It involves managing the needs of users across the Scottish Brand Homes. Many IT services are provided by external suppliers, requiring influencing and vendor management skills. The role requires a general knowledge of IT, with limited hands-on tasks. Building on the strategic decision to outsource, the role will drive the execution of IS Services through optimized processes and support from our IS outsource partners (TCS, Wipro, and Albion). The role involves working closely with the business and service partners to ensure quality delivery and availability of all IS services. It also includes managing local and global D&T partners supporting infrastructure to ensure services meet SLAs.
Duties:
* Coordinate project activities with local service providers
* Achieve high customer satisfaction levels, measured via the annual CS survey
* Develop and maintain an annual operating plan aligned with D&T strategy and local priorities
* Act as the trusted point of contact for knowledgeable D&T management to the business
* Establish effective relationships internally and externally to enable outcome achievement with pace
* Maintain a good understanding of Diageo's D&T global direction and policies, applying them consistently
* Understand Diageo's business processes and strategic drivers
* Ensure controls are in place to guarantee performance and protect Diageo’s reputation
* Ensure compliance with legal authorities and company standards, including external audits
* Promote IS awareness through events and ongoing communication
* Use regular communication to manage expectations regarding services and future projects
Key skills:
* Strong verbal and written English communication skills
* Ability to communicate technical concepts simply and effectively in business language
* Knowledge of general information security management
* Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across the business, D&T community, and service delivery teams
* Good understanding of business processes
* Broad technical and functional knowledge of applications supporting the business, including legacy systems
