Overview
We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional with a background in construction. A seasoned H&S Manager is requested to join a busy main contractor on a large new-build project in Dundee. You will work closely with site teams, contractors, and senior management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures aligned with CDM 2015.
* Oversee risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and industry standards.
* Deliver safety training, briefings, and toolbox talks.
* Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure safety across the project.
* Report on safety performance to senior management.
Requirements
* NEBOSH National Construction Certificate (or equivalent) and IOSH Managing Safely.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in health and safety within construction, ideally main contracting.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead safety initiatives on-site.
