We have over 3,500 staff who are based in 20 offices across the UK. You will be part of the Publishing Team, which is based in the Digital directorate. You will also be part of the wider content community. *You will work with mostly other teams in the department, including policy teams who have contacted the dedicated GOV.UK inbox with a request. *You’ll triage inbox requests, assess the level of work needed, and make sure that resources are allocated across the team appropriately. You’ll be involved in the end-to-end publishing process, taking requests from the draft stage to an accessible, content-designed final version. You will be experienced in writing content in line with GOV.UK style guidelines, turning jargon-heavy drafts into clear and simple pages. Some requests may require out-of-hours working; however, as a team we do our utmost to complete all requests during working hours where possible.
