Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with expertise in various welding techniques including TIG/MIG/MAG welding. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal to produce high-quality components for our projects.
Duties
* Perform TIG welding and other welding processes to fabricate metal components as per specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication of products.
* Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
* Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring all components fit correctly and function as intended.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, particularly with TIG/MIG/MAG welding techniques.
* Proficiency in working with sheet metal and using various hand and power tools.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
