Join a Practice Where Wellness and Excellence Go Hand in Hand

At Wonder of Wellness, we believe true health begins in the mouth and we are passionate about delivering exceptional biological and holistic dentistry alongside wellness care that supports the whole person. Our patients trust us not only for clinical excellence, but also for the warmth, compassion, and empowerment they experience at every visit.

To continue our growth, we're seeking an experienced, motivated, and people-focused Clinical / Assistant Practice Manager. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on clinical leadership with team development and practice management, playing a central role in shaping both our patient journey and our supportive workplace culture.

About the Role

As our Clinical / Assistant Practice Manager, you'll work closely with our Practice Manager and leadership team to ensure the smooth, compliant, and efficient running of the practice. This is a dynamic, varied role that combines leadership, compliance, administration, and also hands-on clinical support.

You'll be both a mentor and motivator for our clinical team, ensuring our surgeries run efficiently, safely, and to the highest possible standard of patient care. You'll also help keep our front-of-house and back-office administration organised, professional, and patient-focused.

Key responsibilities:

Clinical & Compliance

* Lead, support, and inspire the nursing and clinical teams, fostering a positive and collaborative culture
* Ensure full compliance with CQC, GDC, HTM 01-05 and all regulatory standards
* Oversee infection control, health & safety procedures, audits, and quality assurance systems
* Manage stock, equipment, and clinical systems to ensure surgeries run smoothly and efficiently
* Support recruitment, inductions, training, and the professional development of clinical staff
* Step in to assist chairside or within the practice when required, maintaining seamless patient care and team support
* Produce accurate compliance and performance reports, providing ongoing support to the Practice Manager in delivering the highest standards of care

Administrative & Operational

* Oversee the daily administrative operations of the practice, ensuring an efficient and well-organised workflow
* Manage rotas, team planning, and scheduling systems to optimise patient flow and staff resources
* Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring timely and precise data entry in line with GDPR and practice protocols
* Handle correspondence with patients, suppliers, and external stakeholders promptly and professionally
* Monitor and refine practice processes to improve efficiency, patient experience, and service delivery

Who We're Looking For

You'll be a GDC-registered Dental Nurse with proven leadership or senior nursing experience in a dental environment. You thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centred practice, balancing compliance with compassionate care, and you're eager to take the next step in your career.

Essential:

* Strong knowledge of CQC, GDC, HTM 01-05 standards
* Experience managing, supervising, or mentoring a clinical team
* Excellent communication, organisational, and people skills
* Confidence with audits, compliance systems, and reporting
* Strong administrative and IT skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
* Proactive, calm under pressure, and solutions-focused

Desirable:

* Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Assistant Manager, or Head Nurse
* Knowledge of private / biological dentistry and wellness-focused services
* Experience with digital systems and practice management software

What We Offer

* A competitive salary aligned with your experience and responsibilities
* A warm, supportive team culture where staff wellbeing truly matters
* A modern, fully equipped clinical environment with high standards of care
* The chance to contribute to the growth of an innovative, forward-thinking practice
* A workplace that lives its ethos: wellness for our patients, and wellness for our team

This role is perfect for a qualified nurse or senior clinical leader who's ready to step into management, make a real difference, and grow with a practice that's redefining dentistry and wellness.
