Quality Engineer
Location: Worcester
Salary: £40k - £50k + Bonus
What you'll be doing - Quality Engineer
* Ensure first-off parts are to drawing & specification; record and pass off as appropriate
* Complete certificates of conformity and submit to clients
* Complete 8Ds, SCARs, root-cause analysis and or 5Ys when necessary
* Suggest and implement appropriate countermeasures (e.g. Poke Yoke)
* Gather information, complete, and submit for approval PPAPs (incl APQPs, PFMEAs)
* Conduct system audits as per schedule matrix
* Manage and execute CMM report requests from customers/management, as directed
* Suggest, and implement as directed, cost-saving & scrap reduction ideas
Your skills and experiences - Quality Engineer
* Has worked in a similar role in the automotive or aerospace industry
* It is essential that you have experience with ISO 9001
* Be able to contribute to the PPAP process
* Be able to use a variety of measuring equipment including; micrometer, vernier and CMM.
Desirable (but not essential) - Quality Engineer
1. Experience of working in plastic injection moulding
2. Demonstrable Lean/Six Sigma experience would be an advantage
3. Internal Auditor qualifications and experience would be advantageou...
