Overview of Role:
As a cleaning operative, you will undertake cleaning duties across the site, ensuring a complete cleaning service in compliance with CQC and Health & Safety Regulations. The CQC ensures health services provide safe, effective, and compassionate care.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Ensure assigned areas are clean, presentable, and serviceable at all times, enhancing customer experience.
* Maintain a clean and tidy environment throughout the hospital, adhering to operational standards.
* Present yourself professionally, courteously, and in accordance with company policies and values.
* Carry out cleaning and waste collection duties within designated premises.
* This role may be physically demanding, involving lifting and manual tasks.
* Perform comprehensive cleaning, including washing floors, emptying bins, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting to meet high hygiene standards.
* Assist with laundry duties and rotas as required.
* Use and store cleaning products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
* Take responsibility for maintaining high standards in your area.
* Contribute to good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Comply with all statutory regulations at all times.
* Fulfill any reasonable requests from line managers related to your role.
About You:
* Good time management skills.

* Effective time management to complete tasks.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication skills.
* An enhanced DBS check will be required.
Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but full training will be provided.
