This is a hybrid technical role combining quality ownership, technical account management, and end-to-end project delivery across multiple manufacturing partners.
It sits across technical quality, client relationships, and project delivery, with responsibility for managing a portfolio of clients and protecting product integrity across external manufacturing sites.
You will be the main technical contact for your clients, ensuring products are released to specification, issues are resolved quickly and effectively, and technical standards are consistently maintained across all production sites.
Responsibilities
* Act as the main technical contact for a portfolio of clients
* Manage product requirements, approvals, and positive release processes
* Lead investigations into quality or production issues and drive root cause resolution
* Support scale‑up, reformulation, packaging, and co‑packer transition projects
* Work closely with external manufacturers, suppliers, and testing labs
* Ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and labelling requirements
* Maintain clear, audit‑ready technical documentation
Qualifications
* Background in Food Science, Chemistry, or similar
* Experience in food or drinks manufacturing (QA, technical, or NPD environment)
* Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems
* Confident managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
* Strong communication skills, able to simplify technical detail for clients
* Calm, structured problem‑solving approach under pressure
