Responsibilities
* Reporting to the QC Supervisor / Manager you will: respond to external and internal customer queries, maintain a clean and safe working environment, be comfortable with computer systems, take photographs of stock, and generate and maintain appropriate quality documentation.
* Assess and test incoming fresh produce.
* Take photographs of stock and generate and maintain appropriate quality documentation.
* Ensure that procedures are followed by all personnel and visitors to the site.
* Ensure equipment is operational, perform relevant checks, and contact contractors to resolve issues when problems arise.
* Respond to both external and internal customer queries.
* Ensure company policies are adhered to and administration functions are completed within deadlines, maintaining accurate records in line with customer/company requirements.
* Promote harmonious and effective working relationships internally and externally, ensuring excellent customer service through communication and teamwork.
Qualifications / Attributes
* EXPERIENCE IN GRAPES IS ESSENTIAL
* Experience in the fresh produce industry (packing lines / warehouse)
* Experience in a Quality Control position on in-loading will be beneficial
* Technically capable; the role requires IT literacy and competency with spreadsheets
* Great communication skills and the ability to build rapport with colleagues and liaise confidently at all levels
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise
* Reactive, positive, and flexible to changing needs in the working environment and role
* Flexible approach to duties and hours to meet business needs on a day-by-day basis
