About The Role
Staff Power Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist on behalf of a well-established engineering company near Driffield. This is an excellent opportunity to join a precision manufacturing environment, working on high-quality components for specialist industries.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or milling machines
* Read and interpret technical engineering drawings
* Machine components to tight tolerances using a range of materials
* Conduct quality checks on completed parts using inspection tools
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment
* Work closely with the production team to ensure timely completion of jobs
Requirements
* Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a precision engineering environment
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* Skilled in operating CNC machinery
* Ability to work independently and to a high standard
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Desirable
* Experience with manual machining as well as CNC
* Engineering apprenticeship or relevant qualifications
* Familiarity with small-batch or prototype work
