A 10 bedroom boutique hotel in Sleat is looking for a live in Hotel Manager to run daily operations. This role suits someone hands on who is comfortable taking full responsibility in a small hotel setting.
The role
* Manage the day to day running of the hotel
* Deliver a high standard of guest experience from arrival to departure
* Work across reception, housekeeping, and service as needed
* Manage bookings, reservations, and online platforms
* Maintain standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout
* Handle guest queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally
* Oversee basic maintenance and coordinate contractors when required
* Support basic financial tracking and cost control
Working pattern
* Flexible hours required
* Includes weekend and peak season working
What we are looking for
* Previous experience in hospitality or hotel management
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Self motivated and practical approach
* Confidence working in a small team in a remote location
* Good administrative and IT skills
