South Coast Nursing Homes is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.
We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds with the recent opening of a new Nursing home in central Worthing. Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours – day and night, for long and short-term stays.
South Coast Nursing Homes are recruiting for a receptionistto join the team at our team at The Poets in Worthing.
Hours: 9am – 5pm – Monday to Friday
Suitable applicants would have reception experience and the ability to support in administration tasks.
Duties:
* Providing front of house reception and resident support as appropriate.
* Answering incoming calls and taking accurate messages
* Responding to emails in a timely efficient manor
* Providing necessary administrative support to the Manager and team.
* Following up on active enquiries about the home
* Giving tours of the home to prospective residents and their families
* Arranging taxis and hospital transport for residents as required.
* Minute taking for staff and resident meetings
* Experience in a similar roll
* Passionate about offering superior services and want to make a difference
* Kind and caring with a positive approach
* Energetic and hard-working;
* Team player
We are looking for someone who has:
* Confidence in their approach
* An ability to think on your feet and under pressure when dealing with multiple tasks
* Excellent communication with residents, families, managers and directors
* Good with their IT skills, such as Excel, Word, MS Office etc. Accuracy and attention to detail are essential
* A problem solver and solution provider as well as being a quick learner
