Job Title:
Quality Technician (PDI) x 2 - 6-month Fixed Term Contract
Salary:
£27,800 progressing to £29,200 once role triggers are met
Location:
Desford, Leicestershire
Contract:
Full-time & fixed-term (6 months)
The Opportunity:
As a Quality Technician in Pre-Delivery Inspection, you will support efforts to maintain and improve the quality of machines leaving the Desford facility.
What You Will Do:
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting audits on parts and assembled machines to takt time following inspection standards.
* Recording defect information accurately via electronic, manual, or visual boards.
* Communicating defects clearly to relevant teams and supporting personnel as issues arise.
* Participating in defect investigations and improvement projects.
* Supporting and training new team members.

What You Can Demonstrate:
* Experience in auditing processes and Built-in Quality procedures, including defect reporting and root cause analysis.
* Understanding of assembly operations practices and processes.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively to achieve team goals.
* Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to support extra hours if needed.
* Highly organized with keen attention to detail and a desire to improve build quality.
What You May Have:
* Previous PDI experience.
First-stage interviews are scheduled for the week commencing 19 May, with on-site face-to-face interviews in the week commencing 26 May.
Note: The criteria for the role may be adjusted based on application volume to facilitate effective shortlisting.
