We have client located in the Basingstoke that has a Temp to Perm opportunity for a Cat C Driver. The client covers a large area from Bicester to Thame and across to West London/Park Royal and further down to Portsmouth and Southampton.
The Role:
1. Position: Cat C Driver
2. Contract: Temp to perm
3. Start Time: Between 05:30 and 06:00
4. Working Days: Monday to Friday (possibility of weekend working)
5. Shift Length: 8 hours per day
6. Responsibilities: You will also be responsible for the start and finish checks of the vehicle, highlighting any issues to the site team as required. You will also be responsible for completing worked assigned namely the collection or delivery of workwear, towels, etc. You could be between 20 – 30 drop offs/collections daily.
7. Holidays: 23 days per year plus bank holidays (No holidays to be taken the bank holiday week. If they work a bank holiday they get a day off in lieu.)
What You Need:
8. Licence: Full UK driving licence with Cat C, with less than 6 points
9. Certifications: You must have a valid CPC Driver Card, along with a valid Digital Tacho card.
10. Experience: Ideally, at least 1 years driving experience in a Cat C vehicle.
11. Skills: Excellent timekeeping and strong customer service abilities, as you will be the face of both the company, and of Driver Hire
12. Transport: Must have your own transport for commuting to work
